We hope everyone had a great end to the Summer and is staying dry as we enter Fall, aka the Autumn of Trials! We hope you’ll consider running or volunteering for the 2024 Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon on Saturday, December 7th. This Monday, September 30th is the last day to sign up for ONLY $69. So if you’re considering it, there’s your heads up! The Official 7-week Training Plan doesn’t start until Sunday, October 21st, so you have time to get ready!
Want to check out the course? We’ll be having an “Official Course Preview Run” on Sunday, October 27th. Hopefully the re-done section of the Crabtree Creek greenway will be re-opened by that time (if it ever dries out)!

2022 Sir Walter Miler champ Yared Nuguse picked up the Bronze Medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Way to go, Yared!
With the Outdoor Track season concluding, it appears that the Sir Walter Miler produced the Top 3 Womens Outdoor Mile times in the World for 2024. Pretty amazing, huh? Shout out to our own Jeff Caron for putting together an amazing field year after year!
Sandy and Pat had the honor of interviewing 2024 Paris Olympics 1500m Gold Medalist Cole Hocker and his Coach Ben Thomas in conjunction with the 50th running of the Virginia 10-Miler. What a night! A live Summer of Miles event, if you will. Here are some photos.
